Depends how much you truly value a game and willing to pay. I remember spending like 60 dollars or so on my deluxe set of Growlanser Generations, another 60 dollars for the PSX Arc the Lad Collection NOT stated in the auction of its true authencity and condition, about another 60 dollars for the PSX Lunar 2: EB which I also got screwed out of and etc...
If you're curious how whether or not it'll raise, it depends. Look at the Shin Megami Tensei games. It escapes me their current value but a good 60~80 or so the last time I checked. Seen Marvel Vs Capcom 2 lately? I haven't, but it's been like 4 years since MvC2's release and it can easily go for 60 dollars USED at an EBGames and GameStop with a 15 dollar trade-in value; however, look at ebay and amazon. MvC2 can easily top 3 digits depending on the condition from excellent to mint or brand new/sealed. Oh, have you kept up with JRPGs? Remember Disgaea: Hour of Darkness? Use to be an easy 100 dollars on ebay last year, but it wasn't until recently Nippon Ichi released more copies at December (I forget exactly but of no more than a few months) and brought down the extravagant price of it down to 30~40 for a brand new one. Mind you, Disgaea was a great game btw and easily a cult favorite for those who loved their strategy games like Tactic Orge and Final Fantasy Tactics. Speaking of Final Fantasy Tactics, the GH versions sold for a good 10~20 dollars a few years back and are now still a decent 30 dollars for a used one (mint if you're lucky) and 50 or so for a brand new one. Do I need to even mention Suikoden 2? It still has been for the last 7 years from my memory a huge 80~250 dollar difference depending on the condition of that very game, and it was sold in stores for a mere 20 dollars (by the way, the Suikoden 2 PSP version is coming out [or has been, I forget] at the moment including Disgaea for the PSP; however, both are only JPN exclusives at the moment). Valkyrie Profile was a killer 80~120+ dollar game a few years back too until VP: Lenneth came out on the PSP. Remember those Breath of Fire games too? BoF3 is a pain for me to get and 4 too.
Now take that all in consideration and then some. Ask yourself: how much are you willing to spend? And, to answer your question. there's really no difference between the GH version and the black label one besides the disc design and color. The GH verson has those silvery hubs that can easily leave impressionable fingerprints while the black label as those silky white (good-looking) labels to boot. As for the game, it's the same for both like how FF8 and FF9 were. Just the look and appeal is different.
Btw, there were games I simply loved despite their flaws and look at their current value. There's Dragon Quest 8 for the PS2, PS2 Dynasty Tactics 2, Saga Frontier 2 for the PSX, the PSX Xenogears, the PSX FF8, Chrono Cross, and etc... They aren't too much. A mere 20 dollars for quality games although it's really up to you what you think of them. Personally, I enjoyed all the games I've just mentioned in this paragraph, not the paragraph before this, yet they are dirt cheap in a sense. So really, with all this comparisons I listed, I leave it to you.
