I am confused--Verbatim's don't work for GCN games either. Maxell, however, is functional for both.

Should I keep using Maxell?

If it aint broke don't fix it. If they work they work. Just make sure to give a couple games heavy play and see if you get a disk read error while deeper in the game. Verbatims work for me but might not for you, it's kind of a crap shoot with these things...
