TDK DVD+R Wii backups wont run

I bought a 50pcs TDK 16x spindle and burnt a few wii .ISO backups. Since I had previously burn and run successfully other backups with sony DVD+Rs I felt no need of testing them. When I finished burning my backups I decided to try one of them but my Wii wouldnt read it, neither any other TDK backup. Any help apreciated !

DVD writer: lg GSA-4120B
Media: TDK 16X DVD+R

Your Wii probably don't like the TDK media. Wii's can be picky about what media it will read.

The smartest thing you can do is go back to the Sony media. Why change your setup if it isn't broken?

I would guess the reason is the TDK where on sale and cheaper then the Sony? Well look at the position your in now. A 50pack of TDK you bought for your Wii that can not be used.

You should use the TDK for DVD backup or data and buy some more Sony for your Wii backups.

I have seen some members that could not get High grade media (Verbatim/Taiyo Yuden) to work on their Wii's but could use Maxwell. So my advice to anyone is once you find a setup that works for you stick with it and do not change it.

Thanks larrylje!, that is just what I will do, I'll buy a Sony spindle, I bought TDKs because it was the only brand available at COSTCO, for anyone reading this thread I recommend using Sony accucore media, I burnt my Wii backups at 16X with them and they work perfectly !!!, I've played my Prince of Persia backup for 5 hours straight and nothing went wrong !!!!
