Toshiba Drive does not write at 2X

I just upgraded my computer to a 2.8 P4. I have a Toshiba 5002 (write at 2x, rewrite 1x). I have 2x media but the drive never writes at 2x. When I had my Toshiba in my older machine it wrote at 2x. I have the newest firmware and are using Nero. Nero detects the disk as a 2x, but writes only at 1x. I have defragged my drive and cleared all cache. Any ideas?

Hi, only thing i can suggest is update all your chipset drivers if you havent already and make sure DMA mode is on too. Sorry not much else i can think of.
