I have a 1GB memory stick duo and i've had it for almost 2 years now. I use it to play ISO's, Music, Video's, and Homebrew. I was looking into buying a 8GB memory stick duo, I saw one in The Sony Store the other day. I would like your opinion on if i should get it or not. Is it worth the money? Does anyone know if this will be faulty with my psp? (3.40oe) Does anyone have one that wants to give feedback? Thanks in Advance.

well, unfortunately, I haven't had ANY success with updating to Dark_AleX's firmwares using any Sony memory stick. I have a 32MB, so I borrowed from two different friends their memory sticks. It gets stuck when making the DXAR file. If you don't plan on upgrading your firmware, then it shouldn't be a problem. I've had the problem when upgrading DAX's firmware twice, so it could just be two faulty memory sticks, or it could be Sony's memory sticks just don't work with upgrading DAX's firmwares. Hopefully, Sandisk will make an 8GB+ memory stick sometime soon, because that's what I've been using.

Yes, from firmware 3.40, you'll be able to use Memory Stick larger than 4Gbs. It will be okay, but instead of using too large card, use two 4Gbs cards.

I have 1*Sony 8gb Memory Stick Duo card and 2*Sony 4gb Memory Stick Duo cards.
Unfortunately,the 8gb doesn't work at all and the 2 4gb's work perfectly.

How come? It would be annoying to have to switch them all the time...

Crazy, thats sweet but i think i'd rather just have one memory card in at a time..it would be annoying with that thing.
