I just wanted to know if the Wii has Widescreen capability, and if so are there any problems.

Far as I know, the Wii doesn't have a widescreen mode in it.

yes it does, I just used it on my girlfriends TV and it doesnt have any problems at all, actually its probably worked the best on her TV out of all the ones I have tried it on

i am sure if you go look in the options there is a place u can select widescreen and also 480 if ur tv is hd

mine is set to 480

Thx for the help. i dont have my wii yet but i was wondering if i waisted money on my componet cables for my HD tv if i cant use widescreen. but it seems good now.
