Custom GBA SP backup question..just got my SP!!

hey guys, I just recieved an gameboy advance SP and have one backup question.

Is it possible to buy an SD card reader like this one:

then put gba roms on it and load and play them with this media player?

that way id buy a 2gb sd card and store more games on it. Is that doable guys?
