Can I burn MP3 onto DVD-R?

I have a DVD-R burner and I want to burn my MP3 collection onto DVD so I can play them on my home theater system (that plays MP3 format).

Some players that claim to play MP3 music files are picky about the layout of the disc, and some are not. My VDDV DVD player is a complete &#%$ when it comes to this. I still can't work out how it wants the disc layed out, whilst the Afreey DVD player will drill down all of the directories and find the MP3 files and play them. It seems to not care at all.

It really depends on the player, as there are no standards on this. Like Stillgate said, experiment and find the best solution for your player. Good luck.
