Hello aD, it's been a while. :-) I've done a small amount of searching for this answer, but nothing too deep. I assume, if anywhere, here is where I'll find a solution.
I'm using uTorrent, and I want to move a finished(and seeding) file. It's automatically moved by uTorrent to my specified folder, but I would like to move a few of those files to a different folder and still be able to seed them. Can this be done without creating a new torrent? If so, how?
I don't think you can assign utorrent to move completed downloads to more than one specified folder.I used that too and there's space only for one where you should specify where you want to send your completed downloads.
Thanks for the reply, but I'm wanting to know if it's possible to move a file already completed, which has been moved by uTorrent to my specified folder, to a different folder and still be able to seed.
Try redownloading the torrent file itself after you finish downloading originally, move the files to where you want em, load torrent or try using the old one and tell Utorrent to start dling again BUT when it asks you where to save to, point Utorrent to where you moved the completed download to. It oughta scan the files for completeness and once it finds their all completed, should just start seeding.
