Hello Recently i got a imac g3 m5521 i got it without a hd. Now it comes on and i got the restore discs for it so i put in a maxtor 30 gig hd and set to master but when it boots the disc it will not let me restore. Also it dosent even show the hd in the select a drive list. Now i have tryed all different slve setting but none work. The thing was supposed to work before i got it but after a hd failure they took it out and sold me it. Also I tryed to restore with out a keyboard plugged in, would that cause this problem. I did have a mouse plugged in. everything else seems to work, cd drive, monitor. I felt the drive when I turn the computer on and i fell it spin. So i know the drive is getting power. Please help
