Hi; I installed VobSub on my computer a while back and it played .avi files with .srt subtitle files; no problem. All was well until I had to install a Combined Community codec Pack which gave me Media Player Classic as I had to play an .asf file with subtitles and apparently VobSub didn't allow me to do that. I think the CCCP messed with my VobSub so I uninstalled both and installed VobSub only again.

Now I can play soft-subbed .avi files again but my rant is that the subtitles appear twice simultaneously - once in the window of the movie, and then again below that window but still in the window of the Windows Media Player. (Hope you can get what I mean) This reduced the size of the show I'm watching to half and I want to revert things to how they were originally before I messed with things - i.e. for them to appear once only in the movie.
