I'm wondering if there is a way to split a DVD while at the same time preserving the menus. I know how to do it movie only--but it would be pretty cool to know how to know how to do it with the menus intact.

first things first this is a DVD Shrink forum, and this has nothing to do with DVD Shrink right?, why don't you just split, and you will have the menu on the first half but not the second

Hi klemperal,
You can do it with CloneDVD. There are some instructions in the help files that comes with the program. I haven't tried it though.

Another program that splits with menus is DVD Fab Platinum. Here's a screenshot:
