Hey I heard that the wii will identify external hard drives as sd cards. Correct? some other people has heard this rumor too and i also hear the the wiikey can let you play games off your sd card. Of course SD cards are expensive to get a big one. But has anyone tried to save a wii game in an external and use a wii with wiikey to boot it directly?

no it does not identify external hard drives as sd cards.

wiikey does not allow you to play games off the sd card it only modifies dvd drive firmware

no you cannot save a wii game to an external and boot it (yet) there would probably need to be a real modchip (not dvd hack) to do this

If only DMS would step in and make a modchip The wii would do anything you could ever want it too.. maybe in the future
