the psp doesn't meet the system requirements for anything over windows 95 (to my knowledge)

lawls. Let's take a look at system requirements for Vista home basic, the most basic vista version you can get.

* 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
* 512 MB of system memory
* 20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
* Support for DirectX 9 graphics and 32 MB of graphics memory
* DVD-ROM drive
* Audio Output
* Internet access (fees may apply)

And let's see how fast the psp cpu is. 222 mhz. It does have the capacity for 333 mhz, but you can compare.

And RAM. the psp has about mb ram. Compared to 512.

And lastly how in the world are you supposed to get 20 gb of space, let alone 15 gb of free space

Common sense, people.

Besides, why would Microsoft make it possible to put their operating system on a Sony product?

There are youtube videos of windows vista and mac on a psp, though it is not really the OS, but just html pages that you can download. just google it.
