sorry if this has been answered but i just got a wii and i was wondering how to mod it. do i need a chip or is there a firmware mod. please help thank you

I would go with the chip called the WiiD! Have that installed on my Wii, and you can get it for about $38 (shipping included)! It took me about 20 minutes to install the chip, and it works great!
