Hi all, i was just wondering, before making any big decisions, if i really need to get one of those custom firmwares to get ISO games running (im really paranoid about stuff like this and downgrading cos i'm broke)!

Anyway, (Forgive me if i shouldnt mention this) a while back, i got 'untold legends' and 'puzzle bobble' to work on fastloader v0.7 and UMD emulator. I just came across an ISO of 'Shinobido' (with all the numbered files inside) extracted it to my ISO folder, but whenever i try to run it, my PSP either freezes, or just turns off. Here are my exact steps incase i made a mistake somewhere:
1. Opened 'Shinobido Tales Of The Ninja' folder
2. Opened nl-shino.r00 in WinRAR
3. extracted it to my ISO folder (on PC)
4. Moved it to my PSP ISO folder
5. tried fastloader first (the ISO is on the list, but just freezes when i click it)
6. Next i tried UMDemulator (ISO is on the list again, but my PSP just turns off when i click it)

Any help would be life saving!

Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance!

dont use fastloader, if you have any custom firmware, then it has an inbuilt is player. just place the iso in the iso folder and it will work. you dont need any other homebrew appications.

And besides, fastloader is OLD, you can't expect it to run any of the newer games.

PS2 w/ Swap Magic 3.6 and Slide Card, Gamecube w/ Xeno Modchip, PSP 3.71 M33, xbox 360 unmodded
