not sure what so funny not to mention as if this is a joke or not but no other region discs do not brick a wii, Yes modchips will support other regions but not 100% compatible the only game that will brick your wii as of yet is Super Paper Mario and that is because it preforms an update for the system in the region its released, So if you are using a NTSC console and try to use a PAL(UK) disc the update will brick your system, as of now though the newest updates to the wii console prevent this so before you try anything make sure your wii is fully updated
