Hello -
I've been searching the net for a few hours looking for a solution to this, but nothing yet.
I'm trying to back-up my UMDs either to memory stick or directly to a PC
I'm using fw 3.03oe-c
I've tried umddumper, isobuster, fastloader but nothing seems to load up for this fw.
Anyone have this issue or know what can be used? Thanks in advance.
~Jesse

I have 3.03 OE-C, and I use UMDDUMPER. Just place the files in the GAME150 and it should work.

You download UMDDUMPER, it is a homebrew application, place these files in the GAME150 folder. Then run it on your PSP. It will make an ISO from the UMD, this is not compressed, so then move the file to your computer and compress it, then place the ISO file or the CSO file in the ISO folder in the root of your memstick to play the game.

the best thing i recomed you do is download the game u want to back up to your memory chip by downloading the game iso from a TORRENT site. then you can either upgrade to 3.03 oe-c and in the rot of your memor chip you make a folder named ISO and place them there. then turn on your psp go to the games menu and your iso should be there.

i used ot have that problem too. you will see multiple files. extract one of them using WinRAR. then you should see a folder. in the folder should be the ISO you are looking for.

If I only need to extract one file, why are there sometimes like 10 files for a given game?

Doesn't matter how many are there, they extract into 1 file.
#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

I still don't understand this. Do I have to download all these files or just the first one? Why would they have all these files then?

You need all the files. This is just a zip format. It takes one giant file and makes it into many tiny ones for ease of transfer. This is a left over from the good old newsgroup days, where you can't upload a file over certain size. So they can only upload file this way.
#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

Thank you. I can read. This doesn't answer my question. This just says to download 1 of the files, extract it and the ISO will be there.
This does not pertain to ISOs with multiple files. Thanks anyway.

Where did it say only download 1 of them? Just get all the the files, and extract one of them with WinRAR.

Just extract any one. WinRAR will go through them all automatically.
