Gameshark 2 Question

Umm, yeah

I got the "Gameshark 2" thing >_> or whatever.

And...I used to own an older Gameshark, and it worked easily. But I was always adding codes to it, so you just go get them from gameshark.com and add them and they worked perfectly, but

Now that my old one broke I got the Gameshark 2
And I turned it on, went to "Expert Cheat Mode" and it loaded some of my old cheats, but I had to change them because of the new gameshark, I changed them all and turned them on, and went to play the game and the codes didn't work!
I don't understand, I even checked to make sure all the codes were right.

[Note: The only device I have is the Disk "Gameshark 2"]

I figured it would work just like the older version, guess not.
Help please?

maybe you could be a little more descriptive with what you did.
Maybe its the lack of sleep or maybe im just stark raving mad, but i had trouble following it.

What version is the new gameshark, and what version was the old one?
thats a good place to start.

and you say "old one broke" if its for a PS2 then its probably on a CD.
it it was for the PS1, and had a dongle you plugged into a memory card port that had a big gameshark logo on it and looked like a memory card, then a gameshark2 wont work at all.

after re-reading your post... did you cahnge them back to the original codes if they were different? taht would definitely most likely maybe probably break them... different code engines = different codes... sometimes...

so... what'cha got? and what exactly did you do to "change" them?
