I'm newer to the wii scene and am getting ready to buy a new dual layer DVD burner. What model/brand are the best for getting the lowest amounts of DRE'S? I know that with modding gamecubes you need specific drives for burning or you get a lot of disk read errors...Any suggestions?

for copying the games you need a specific LG drive, but if you would just want to download one and burn it any DVDRW drive should work

I use a pioneer 111d burner. I burn gamecube and wii games with no errors so far.

you can use virtually any decent burner to burn images. its only when you are dumping the image from an original that you need to use a specific LG dvdROM
