i just had my wiikey installed but it will not load any back-ups or the wiikey config disc it is a professional install tried it twice but it still wont load back-ups only originals

Try different media. Verbatim or Tayio Yuden DVD-R you can also try DVD+R but I have seen allot of mod owners have problems with the Wii reading them. When you find media that work stick with it.

Also make sure the Wiikey is installed properly.

the wiikey is installed professionaly i did not do it the disc that comes with the wiikey doesnt even work i got 8 backups from a guy on sell.com that mods the wii with the wiikey and also sells backups so i bought 8 of i sent 2 with the guy thats modding my wii he tried the wiikey 1.2 disc also with no success

Then you might need to get in contact with the seller and let him know the problem. Maybe they will do an exchange or will let you send it back in for them to double check the Modchip. Hopefully you isn't get duped into buying a Wii with no Modchip in it.

the guy thats doing it still has my wii he called today and told me this and that he contacted the place he bought the wiikeys from he bought 2 of them but ill just have to wait i think the chip is faulty what else could it be he said its a perfect install he also has done my ps2 and xbox

This still could be a media issue. Wii's can be picky at what media it will play.

Maybe your Wii does not like the media the backup games that you bought illegally are on. Did the guy you bought the backup games from and the Wiikey send you the setup disc?

Was it burnt on the same media as what the backup games where on?

I thought you had to go to the site and download the setup iso to burn to a DVD. Does Wiikey or any re-seller actually send a setup disc with the Wiikey?

i just bought the back-ups from the guy on sell.com the guy who is modding my wii got them from hong kong he said they are genuine and he first tried the disc that came with the wiikeys no sucess then he tried 2 of the backups i sent with him didnt work either he took it back apart took the wires off and redid them no sucess either we do not know what the problem is maybe the media but i dont think so because the guy i bought the backups from modifies wii consoles also and they work it doesnt say the name brand on the disc just numbers on the back as it is lightscribed

He can not guarantee that the backups would work on every Wii console. Every Wii is different with what Media it will play. Some search through allot of brand and format of DVD media before finding 1 that actually works consistently with their Wii.
