Breaker Pro Controller Problem

I recently got Breaker Pro, and when I tried to play Castlevania: SOTN in my PS2, every was fine, but when I move, attack, or anything, it thinks that i released the button and then i hit it again, even tho i held it the whole time.

I tried an original PSX controller and that didnt work. It also seems that it only happens in the games that dont utilize the analog.

Anybody know what wrong?

It sounds like some of the buttons are set to rapid-fire. or there is a short in the controller port of your ps2.

have you tried any other ps1 games besides that?
there may be a compatability issue.
