Before I burn a disc I was told it has to be verbatim made or something like that and to use DVDINFOPRO DIP says this
Media code/Manufacturer ID MCC 02RG20

Is that good?

But that dosent mean they will be compatible with your Wii. All Wii's are different. Some can be very picky at what media it will read. Some will read a wide Variety of media.

All you can do is try blank media till you find some that work well with your Wii and stick with it. I would recommend trying Verbatim/Tayio Yuden or any first class media first due to they tend to have a longer life span.
