Hey - I'm using 3.03oe-c and playing ISOs and it has been working fine until recently when one of the games froze and none of the other ones wanted to load.. (the game could not be started 800256 or something)
I went into config. and enabled NO UMD mode and it seemed to load them fine, but now they're still freezing at some point in the middle. How can I fix this? Could it be the ISOs are corrupted?

Would increasing the speed of the processor really help a game from freezing? how is that possible? is it possibly to repair the corrupted ISOs somehow?

go back to recovery, disable NO-UMD, then put a game umd in the drive.

increase cpu might help.

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

well originally NO-UMD was disabled and there has always been a umd in the drive. Enabling NO-UMD allowed them to run, but then they started freezing..

thanks for your replies across the board

Go to recovery, advanced, make sure all 3 things there are disabled.

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe

Is it just one iso? Or all of them? What game exactly are you trying to run?

it seems to be happening with Luxor 2. The other ones seem OK but I haven't tested them all. Everything worked perfectly until I gave my g/f took the psp on a trip to DC and she said it froze then when she tried to restart it, none of the games would load.

I then enabled NO-UMD mode which let them start up but then it would freeze up.
