yes you can and do a search before posting..

anyway you gotta use a program called multigameisocreator which you can google it for. the one you would be looking for is version 2.0.3.0 (latest) btw it can also shrink the gc games to make it fit the dvd however some games have shrinking issues so do some research first if you want to shrink the games.

I posted a similar thread and was told to backup the ngc games the same way as I would the wii game.

Are there different ways?

The game I would like to back up are Mario Party 5 and 6.

You do not have to use multigameisocreator to use a backup Game Cube game. Just burn the .iso or .gcm game to disc and play in the Wii.

The only reason you would use multigameisocreator is if you wanted to put more then 1 game on a disc.

You can also dump the Game Cube game to your computer using Rawdump 2.0 and 1 of the compatible DVD-ROM drives. (LG-8164b or LG-8163b or LG-8162b or LG-8161b) Once you dump and unscramble the dump burn the ISO to a blank disc and play in the Wii.

@rnj9

A few ways to backup Mario Party 5 and 6...

1. Download the backup

2. Use 1 of the compatible LG-8164b or LG-8163b or LG-8162b or LG-8161b drives and rawdump 2.0

3. Use a Game Cube, BBA adapter and GCoS to rip the game from your Game Cube to your computer.

I do not mean to steal this thread but what do you mean by ?unscramble the dump burn?. I have made perfect backups for the wii and looking to try to backup Game Cube games this weekend. Should I just keep doing what I?m doing? Thanks!!

unscramble is like when you dump a wii game you sometimes would get a .wii file unscramble it with rawdump and you'd get a .iso file correct?

i recommended the multigameisocreator cuz it would save more space and thus let you play more games in a dvd :)

If you use rawdump 2.0 I think it unscrambles the dump automatically after it gets through dumping the Wii/GC game to your computer.

Rawdump also has an option to unscramble a Wii game. You could use this option if you happen to download a Wii game that has a .wii extension.

So you should be able to do the same steps with the Game Cube games as what you have been doing with your Wii games.

Matter of fact I don't even know if the Game Cube game needs to be unscrambled. But if it does then Rawdump should do it automatically after it has dumped the Game Cube game to your computer.

I agree ghostboy6 I have 50 games all on 12 to 14 disc. Saves allot of room. I just wanted to make it clear for others that you don't have to use that program to burn and play the GC games.

Thanks larrylje and ghostboy6! Can?t wait till I try it at home this weekend! I use rawdump 2.0 so hopefully I will not have any problems. I may just try using the multigameisocreator after I get the hang of everything :)
