This is a question regarding Windows Vista, renaming and file extentions.

the majority of us know that in versions prior to windows vista we can open up my computer and select fool and from there select folder options which we can then UNtick a box saying hide known file extentions, I was wondering how I was to do this in Vista, but while typing I had a little brain wave telling me what do to.

so for the rest of the community, this is what you do:

Start> control pannel > folder options > view >
