Illegal Disc Error v 6.6.1.4

Have been using Nero for quite some time and all of a sudden it gave me the illegal disc error. Just opened a brand new Memorex DVD-R pack, could it be that my drive is outdated? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Below is the error log:

Could be the drive/firmware/media. Illegal disc errors are usually caused by the firmware not supported the media.
Here's a firmware update for the drive - 2.25.
The Memorex 16x you're using are made by Ritek - not bad.
But if the firmware doesn't do it try some different media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell.
