What game is it?

What region is the game?

What region is your Wii?

If it is an out of region game disc make sure your Modchip has its Region override enabled. Plus make sure the game disc is compatible with region override from the link below.

Insert the Wiikey setup disc into your Wii.

Then turn the Region override on then save the settings and reboot.

Due to the stealth mode if the Wiikey all settings show as the default settings but if you choose region override ON and save it will actually be on.

If you do not have setup disc you can get it from the Wiikey site below...

1.) download the setup disc v1.2 from the wiikey website (http://www.wiikey.cn)
2.) then burn it into a dvd
3.) insert disc into wii
4.) configure region override to ON then save

note: even after changing the settings when you put the setup disc back in, you would just see the original settings because of the stealth feature of the wiikey but be assured that it has been configured to what you configure it to.

EDIT: larrylje beat me to being first to post... tied at 23:00 XD

I never ran a "setup" disc since installing my wiikey. Is this a must?

@cp1966

If you want to play out of region games then yes you will have to use the setup disc to turn Region Override on.

ok, i did the region free disc thing.
but the backup from the web still did not play.
Again, I have no problems when I back them up from original disc but the ones I got from the web wont do right. They get to the screen on the main wii screen then when I hit startit does nothing.
i have tried ...
wii...spiderman 3, smooth moves,shrek all NTSC
gc... pokemon colesum, res evil4 all NTSC

what did i do wrong?
