Hi,

I went to Circuit City and they had these Sony DVD-Rs on sale for $6.99 25-pack. The package states that they are 16X but DVDInfoPro gives the Manufacturer Rated Speed as a "?". The Media Code/Manufacturer ID comes up as "SONY16D1". Are these Good or Bad? Will they hold up? My Grand-Aunt sent me some old pictures and I made a slideshow out of them and I want to burn them and send them out to all my family. I don't want them to fade out and not work in a year or two....

Thanks for the help!

Those Sony's should be just fine, but nothing is forever. They may last several years if all variables are favorable.
