I just installed a new video card Nvidia GeForce FX5500 and it worked fine until I restarted my computer and the old onboard video card take over control on the new card although I already uninstalled the old video card driver. It happened again and again every time I boot up my computer. Is there any way to prevent the old card taking over the new one or how to get rid of its driver permanently so that the displays won't be controlled by the old card anymore? Please help. Thanks,

A Dumb Guy

take a look in the motherboard manual for the bios setting to change to new card from onboard video.
