Ok, So I tried to install the wiikey, which I bought from an online retailer that said it was an "official," but it didn't have the quick solder pads or anything.
So, I tried to add some extra solder, and I also added extra solder to the connections on the board. Well, when I was soldering, the soldier pads on the board combined with the solder on the chip, and now they aren't there!
Well, I was worried, so I hooked the wii back up, and low and behld, it still works! Why is it that it works with those pads missing? And does anyone know where I can find out what each connection does. Thanks a ton. P.S. I am no where skilled enough to finish the install with those tiny little legs on the panasonic chip. I think I m screwed :(
That may be an option, I may have to see how much they charge. It just sucks that this operation is getting more and more expensive. Doesn anyone know why the dvd drive still workds, even though the solder pads came off? What was the path from the panasonic chip legs doing?
