I had the zelda game for the wii but unfortunately it has just recently got damage i did manage to burn a back up disc which works fine in my upgraded Wii. The only problem is, is that i have tried to 'back up my backup' and for some reason it's not working.
does anyone know of a software that i could use to burn a copy of my copy? i have tried Nero but it doesn't wat to know.
if anyone could help i would be most greatful.
thanks in advance.

If it doesn't work then you have a bad DVD backup that your trying to rip. Which means you will need to re-rip the Original Game Disc or download it again.

you need rawdump 2.0 to copy an original game, and you need a specific type of lg drive, check the first thread in this forum

Did you burn your Wii backup to a DL DVD?
I think you get those 2 files when you rip a Dual layer DVD i could be wrong tho. Which as far as I know Nintendo has not put out any Wii games that are Dual layer.
Try burning the Image,Image.i00 file. I would assume that is the first layer of the DVD which all the game data should be in that image file.

if the extension is .wii then in rawdump there is a button at the bottom where it will convert the .wii file to a .iso file

@aprilyon
Try getting some DVD-R Maxell.
Also what region Wii do you have?
I would assume the BBA game disc is an NTSC(U) version.

I was just making sure it wasn't a region compatibility issue since both are NTSC(U) so that isn't the problem.

Use the media you already have and burn the image at 4X using ImgBurn. It is freeware and you can get it from the below link...

If you still have trouble then try getting some Maxell DVD-R or order some Verbatim/Tayio Yuden DVD-R online.
