I jsut came down at my work from a friends office and he was jsut now playing Marvel vs Street Fighter on the PSX, he just got it from a friend (they have the original no more questions) anyways I have my old pile of PSX Games in my room I was wondering how do you backup them up so you can play them on your PSP? And for instance, I got Final Fantasy 7, I never finished the game... still its a 3 Disc game, how the heck are u suppose to play that game if its a 3 Discs or in other words how do you make it only 1 file or 3 files?

Any programs to rip old PSX games to PSP? :) I want to play FF7 AGAIN and Legend of MANA!

There are many progs for this. Check out maxconsole.net to get them. Here is how the breakdown on mulitple disk games work. If the game has a swap at the end of the disk aka Final Fantasy it will work. For Final Fantasy VII, you need to convert each disk to an eboot, and use the same Disk id (you can do this with all the apps) so the save file from disk 1 is recognized by disk 2. Some apps require hot shots golf 2 (the one from the ps3 online store) in order to work properly, some others dont. I will leave it up to you to find the ones that dont require the eboot. PM me if you want more in depth details.

I went to that website and could not find a program to create the eboot.pbd for the psx game... anymore help, maybe a guide or something?

Hey I was able to get the Autopopstation4, I have been able to create the Eboot.PBD files, got the data info also I was keys.bin which is downloaded from the Hot Shots golf as that is the one that should be created, now... I load the game with 0 Compression to my memory and they just appear as corrupted data, why cant I get this thing to work? Any ideas?

it is eboot.pbp btw

put the folder with the eboot and keys.bin in a folder, then put that folder in the GAME folder.

So its not in the ISO folder its in the GAME folder? I am so dumb to not try that? DUH I will test it...

I just told you were to put it! It is a .pbp file, why would it go in the ISO folder?? Iso, cso, dax, jso go in the ISO folder, nothing else.

Cause I am noob... by the way does the 3.40 oe support COMPRESSION to 9 or we have to leave it anyways to 0? Just my last question sorry for been so noobish!

yup compress away, i compress all mine at level 9. Not a noob by the way, you are trying to learn. A noob is an ignorant arsehole who knows nothing, strives to know nothing, and has a attitude. Just my opinion lol.

Dup, I couldnt test it, I left my PSP at work and I brought all the gbames here, so I will have to tell you tomorrow so sorry I couldnt test it will test it tomorrow.

Compressed to 9 added keys.bin and all my games work, they just take too much time loading, why?
