I'm pretty sure I have what you call an integrated sound card. Whenever I have to reformat my computer I normallly just go to the dell website and download this driver:

http://support.dell.com/support/download...3&fileid=122481

It has seemed to always work until this time. I can't figure out why. I canot get sound on my computer no matter what I try and do. I have made sure nothing is on mute too. Any suggestions, or am I using the wrong driver?

Dell redid their driver download center or whatever a month of two ago, so you probably downloaded the wrong driver on accident.

Is that the one you have tried downloading? Make sure you install drivers for all your components because your audio device could very well rely on other devices being operational.
