DVD drive will not read Black X-mas

I'm trying to rip Black X-Mas (which I own) to back it up, and my DVD Drive a Sony RW DW-D22A won't even acknoweledge the disk when I insert it. Is there anything I can do about this? This is the only disk I have that does this. But it plays fine in my standalone DVD player.

I had no problem with this movie at all. try cleaning the disk and see if the computer recognizes it. If not I would try to see if other computers have the same problem with your disk. If so it might be a bad press and your drive is having problems with it. Then only a replacement would help!
