Do you think I will have any issues if I install a Wiikey and a pulseVU into my wii...

Just seeing if anyone else here has done it yet.

I've never even heard of the PulseVU? What is that? Can you give a little more information on this?

its kinda stupid... i mean, why are you even running music and movies on the wii anyway, an xbox with media center would be much more efficient. Or just a stereo....... and how often do you actually look at that blue light.... besides, it blinks when you get mail in the message board, this chip may screw that up....

I'm still trying to figure out where anyone has even talked about running music and movies on the Wii in this thread or any other thread that has been linked to this thread.

A good MOD for those that like that flashy stuff on their Wii.

Did you even read the link at all? Or have any idea what the product does?

PulseVU Link (about), - "This device will pulse your LEDs along with the music coming from the console and can also fade your LEDs in a "breathing" effect."

i cant even imagine how fast you must have posted, thats litterally all it says on the freakin about page...............

Did you even read it or watch the other link of the Video?

They never once said anything about playing music or watching movies.

They said it would pulse and blink with Games you play and pulse as well when navigating the Wii menu system.

Never once did they even suggest playing Music or Movies off the Wii with this MOD.

Your assuming they are talking about Audio/Music CD/MP3 when in fact they are talking about Music from the Game/Wii itself. Watch the video and you will understand.

Don't get me wrong. I also agree with your statement and have made the statement before myself in which playing Videos on your Wii is not practical.

I just don't see where the relevance of playing Audio/Music and Movie/Video has to do with this thread or PulseVU.

exactly... I didn't want to turn this into a flame war here... I am merely interested in knowing if it is possible to install both this and a wiikey without any issues...

The PulseVU can be turned on an off by holding the reset button in for 4 seconds... does the wiikey require any use of the reset button... except for the setup menu (I will use a GC controller for this).

Me personally I like the audio response of this mod... it just adds that extra something... that's all.

I would assume it wouldn't interfere. They don't use any of the same soldering points.

I also would assume the reset button menu navigation for the Wiikey wouldn't be a problem as well since you would need the setup disc in for that option to be available.

I would assume the worst that the option would do is turn the PulseVU on or off which in that case after you update your Wiikey settings just turn PulseVU back on.

My Modchip would probably have a conflict with PulseVU. I have a WiiD and pressing the reset button for 3 seconds will disable my Modchip. So it would more then likely interfere with a WiiD Modchip. Just adding this in case someone else that has a WiiD and is looking at purchasing this MOD.

Yeah I agree with larrylje! I think you would be fine, but also like me, I don't think it would work, because I have the WiiD installed!
