Another person not able to get utorrents to work..

Help TomMelee or anyone!

I am unable after many tries to get utorrent to work. I am new to this bittorrent and DSL stuff. Here is the information you may need to help me.

1. any would do...pick one for me!
2. My computer is 192.168.254.1
3. I have a Linksys switch EZXS55W I don't think it has an address. both of my computers and my DSL modem is hooked into it.
4. Windstream.net is my ISP
5. Windows firewall, but I let utorrent make an exception.
6. One other computer.

Any other questions please let me know. I could also send you the results of ipconfig, but I don't want to post it here in public on the forum.

Any help would be appreciated,

I forgot to add that I am hooked to my IPS with a Siemans Speedstream 4200 modem.

I know nothing of the Linksy switch but here to forward your Siemen 4200: http://portforward.com/english/routers/p...00/Utorrent.htm but first set a static ip address, the info you need is all at ipconfig/all, just pay attention to what is said about the DNS server(s) and Default Gateway being the same: http://portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm You can use port 34,450 and disable UPnP at options>preferences>connection and enable Protocol Encryption: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/395674
