Write just got Mandriva linux a couple of days
heard linux is the best for writing programs is it?
also im abit of a noob atm, and wanted to create my own programs using c++ how long will it take to learn and is it worth learning , also what else can i do with c+

it would probably be a little difficult to teach yourself c but if you want to learn there are guides out there. just do a google search. also if you want to program you will also need to learn to compile the code
