Gamecube Multiboot with AR 1.08 copy? Also, N64 Emulation? (On Wii)

Hey guys. I have the following setup, and I'm having difficulty with two things.

#1: I have a copy of AR 1.08 Gamecube (burned copy, works), and I'm trying to use cheats on a multi boot disc containing three games, Zelda Master Quest, Zelda: Four Swords Adventure, and Megaman Network Transmission. The disc was made with the Make_Multi file, and burnt properly.

Everything functions, except when I attempted to use the cheats (specifically max hp/mp/powerups), the game either didn't receive them, or ignored them. There are no special notes with regards to cheats for this game on codejunkies, and I am sure that everything was burnt properly. My theory is the boot loader is clearing out anything the AR is storing, but its just a guess.

#2: Anyone come out with any way to play Goldeneye or any other N64 rom through any combination of emulators, discs or virtual console hacks? If so, has anyone figured out how to -save-?

For that matter, which emulated systems do have save capacity, and where does it get saved to, gamecube memory card?

EDIT: Sorry, Forgot to mention this is on a modded wii, hence why its in this forum.
