My DVD player have not automatic pan&scan function, so most of the movies, that have 16:9 aspect ratio I can see only in letterbox mode. But I found the way to get pan&scan picture when I copy DVDs - in IfoEdit I change Title Set Movie Attributes from Automatic Letterboxed to Automatic Pan&Scan. When I burn DVD after that, I get required result. But even in Pan&Scan mode there are black strips below and above the picture. Is there any possibility to stretch the picture up to top and bottom borders of the TV without loosing upper and lower parts of the picture?

I doubt it. You have now the maximum picture size for that format. Personally it doesn't bother me whether it's full screen or not as long as the quality is there.
