I tried to burn a movie and came accross this. the burner was working fine and all of a sudden this happened. I thought it might have been Nero so I tried VSO and Dvdsanta and dvdshrink. I've tried two different types of discs and nothing, it starts the lead in and gets to 2% and then gives this error log(which is alien to me)

Was using tesco and mrdvd discs. I recently installed daemon tool and thought that might be the conflict so I uninstalled it and rebooted the pc and still the same. with no disc it shows as a dvd drive and if I put in an audio disc it shows as a cd drive with 0bytes

Sorry for the delay in responding.
I cannot find anything on your burner...firmware may need an update.
Quote: Was using tesco and mrdvd discs
These are not top quality discs, try Verbatim or Sony (made in Japan)
