Hey I had the damn bloody same problem as well - when I ran DOS prompt to create the ISO (tried just double click as well - on batch file) for some what reason the ISO image came out only 4.5MB well that is too tiny. That could be one of your problems see if the ISO image is more than 1GB - 4.3GB.
I read some where "if you are using windows XP it will have a few issues creating the ISO image" also wiikey support department are lazy buggers I have sent an email like 2 weeks ago regarding this issue and no response also the chip firmware update is supose to be out, where is it? So I might just change to a wiid as most people are saying this is the next best thing or even better with a good support department, already de-soldered wiikey, mite sell my PAL wii and get a NTSC-U/J version, I want to play Naruto and Bleach these games kinda loaded with the wiikey but stayed on a black screen and that was all.
Also if you are looking to play other region games check the compatability list here http://wiki.gbatemp.net/index.php/Wii_Re...y_List#See_Also they also have some info regarding changing an PAL ISO image to JAP and so on.

well here is what i do... when i get my iso i use img burn and i havent had a problem yet. i use sony 16x DVD+R and burn at 4x. the guy who put in my wiikey said that he burns at 6x and recommends everyone does the same. you just have to find the media that works for you. i would also recommend trying tayo yuden 8x DVD-R.

also make sure your iso size is exactly 4.37 GB if its not then its not got to work after you burn it and you need to retry downloading or ripping the game.
