I'm looking for DVD-R that is a Taiyo Yuden's OEM.
Tell me which brand is a Taiyo Yuden OEM?
It will be great if it could be found at Walmart or Target, circuit city, office depot, ofice max...etc

Getting harder to find ty media locally.

You can sometimes get lucky with Sony dash 1x-16x. Look at the top of the spindle for the foam spacer that holds the discs down. Find the spindles with the white/octagon spacer. The spindles with the round white or the round gray won't yield tys.

But,some of the newer spindles,sony is putting a label on top of that foam spacer,so you can't tell what shape or color that foam spacer is.

Look for Made in Japan on the label. Some of the spindles that say made in japan can still yield Sony MID coded media,but it's still pretty decent media,just not taiyo yuden.

Sony is very common,easily found at staples,wally world,and other brick & mortar stores. I get them for under $25 per 100 pk when on sale.
