Looking for a good Batch Image convertion program

Hey, can anyone here turn me onto a good windows software that will convert several .bmp and .tiff image files into good ol .jpg with good
quality results. Will photoshop do it( batch process...and if so HOW ) I'm still struggling with it's learning curve.
