Can i update my wii console without internet

Hi,
i do not have the lan adapter to connect my wii to the internet,
but can i still update? If so how?

Update Via a game disc with the latest update on it. (Make sure the game disc is the same region as your Wii)

If your Wii is...

PAL use a PAL Game
NTSC(U) use a NTSC(U) Game
NTSC(J) use a NTSC(J) Game

I will warn you that there is a Mario Strikers NTSC Vortex version out that was patched from PAL to a NTSC. It still has the PAL region update on the disc so if applied and your Wii is NTSC then it will brick your Wii.

So I would stay away from that title.

No problem. The latest firmware that is availble is 2.2

I have no idea if there is any NTSC(U) game disc out yet with the 2.2U firmware on it.

I do know that Mario Strikers PAL version has a 2.2E update. So if you have a PAL Wii then buy that game and update your PAL Wii with it.

As for NTSC(J) I have no idea what disc have the latest update either.
