OK I think I'm gonna blow up. I ordered my WiiD modchip on May 12th, from Modchipstore.com, sent Money Order May 15th, and I was told on May 21st (by the live update) that it would ship that day... And I still don't have the WiiD. What is happening? I think I'll have to forget about that order and buy It from another place.... I've been waiting weeks and still don't have my WiiD. Has anybody bought from this place before? I've sent 2 emails and I've been monitoring the site for when live support comes up again, and haven't been able to communicate.
Does anybody have any suggestions? Any other place to buy this? Man... I feel like I just bought a mountain of problems for $55.
Thanks.

I got mine from modchipstore.com but paid Via credit card and got it the next day after ordering it.
Has it gone out with DHL yet? Could be a DHL problem try calling DHL if you got the tracking number.

Hi larrylje... You were the one that recommended me the chip in the first place, remember? Thanks a lot for that, but modchipstore.com has been a pain. The big problem is that I think they shipped via USPS, since I live in Puerto Rico... and I just haven't been able to contact them about this! I tracked the order in their website, but it only says that the order has been processed and that the estimated shipping date is May 14th... I feel like this is a lost case, and that the USPS lost my package for ever, that modchipstore.com is just ignoring me, and that I'll have to buy it again, this time with credit card, from another place.
... I don't know why they shipped via USPS in the first place... Puerto Rico is just like the U.S. in their map! I live next to the airport and every single day I see 3 huge planes from DHL coming in, the computer I am using to type this was shipped via DHL!
I think it would have been easier just paying with credit card... Darn, I researched so much about modchips, and just when I am feeling totally confident about this I get the last problem, the shipping.
Well... I'll keep trying, but I think its going to take another month for me to get the WiiD. Thanks a lot larrylje! I'll update in this thread when something happens.

I bet you wouldn't have had as many problems if you would have used credit card, that is kind of disapointing that you are having problems with them, because I always recomend them and they usually have excellent service and everything is usually on time if not early.

If you live in the Puerto Rico and they shipped it USPS it could take a while. I am sure it will have to clear customs and all that as well. Hopefully you get it soon.

JESUS!!! They shipped via DHL after telling me that they didn't ship because they were temporarily out of stock. WTF? They shipped me the Cyclowiz! Its been more than a month and Modchipstore.com topped it all off by sending me the wrong one!!! UGH its disgusting! Do you guys think I should go with the Cyclowiz or keep fighting for the WiiD??? I mean... the Cyclowiz doesn't even have a Website.... Modchipstore.com SUCKS!

Sorry for the bad experience. I have order allot of stuff from them and have never had an issue. but it seems a few other threads have come up with the service being bad.
Maybe it is time for me to find a different online Modstore.
As for keeping the Cyclowiz. That might not be a good idea since the official site has been shut down. But there is a 3rd party website out there. I don't know how reputable they are but you can try the firmware off this site if you want to keep the cyclowiz.

Ok... since I can't wait anymore, I bought it again from www.modchipcentral.com I hope that these guys do a better job than modchipstore.com, but that doesn't mean that I'll give up on it, I'll keep fighting for the WiiD, because I payed for it and that is what I should Get! If I get both WiiDs, then I should sell one. I placed my order on May 12th, its way too much time (-5 stars for them).

Yes! I received the WiiD from Modchipcentral.com and Installed it and it is working perfectly! I also installed the update for the chip which seems to be working fine. No need to solder in Wire D I guess.
My friend did a great installation! Just one question, Do you guys think that the C point on the chip is going to give me any problems in the future? It seems a little bit off to the side, I'm not sure. Here's a picture of my installation: http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g184/samus250/IMG_1890.jpg
Thanks a lot!

Looks like a good instillation. If you do start having trouble all you can do is redo the soldering joint on point C.
But since it is working fine I wouldn't mess with it.

Thanks a lot larrylje, I don't think I could have done it without you. If it wasn't because of you, maybe I would have chosen instead the Wiikey or something else. And if I would have chosen the WiiD by myself, I wouldn't be able to install it correctly. You gave me this site: http://www.wii-ftw.com/?page=wiid.install.review that told me how to disassemble and install the WiiD perfectly, and if I recall correctly, you even recommended the type of soldering iron I needed, 15 watt with the finest point I could find.
Thanks a lot for everything! I feel that I owe you one! I recommend the WiiD and your advices 10,000%!
