today i got everything to mod the wiikey into my wii...
the first step is unscrew the battery ...
but it is sooooo tight..i got all #0 #00 #000 precisice screwdriver..
and after 2 or 3 tried ..it seems like it is ruined...what should i do now??

is that mean i never able to mod my wii anymore???

plz help me...thank u everyone..

woah! Thats sooo scary i came on to here to ask that exact same question, my screw looks f**ked up and its starting to turn into a circle rather than a screw :) Im using the psp screwdriver which is quite small.
What part does the mini phillips screwdriver have to do with opening the wii? is that for the battry cover

The battery cover is not the only Phillips screws you have to take out. All the way through the disassembly you have both Triwing and Phillips screws to take out. (The other Phillips screws are not as tiny as the battery cover screw is)

I bought an eyeglass repair kit to get a small enough Phillips screw driver to unscrew the battery cover.

As for getting the screw out if you have striped it. Don't really have any good ideas except using a Dremel tool to drill it out. Then buy another replacement screw at a hardware store.

Maybe someone else knows a trick to get it out without drilling.

I am going to buy a jewellers kit, if that don't work i'll buy the phillips screw drive as well, and if that dont work i'll buy the drill you suggested!
