I installed my wiikey but i get a disc read error when i use my hp dvd i dont have any memorex or verbatim right now but i wanna know do hp dvds work at all with the wiikey? That way i know if i installed my wiikey correctly I can still play my originals.

You will need to find media that your Wii will read.

Verbatim/Tayio Yuden

I use Maxell DVD-R 16x myself.

It really depends on your Wii. They can be picky at what media they will play. I would stay away from Memorex tho.
