As a birthday present for my daughter I got her the complete set of Charmed season 1 - 7. I made backups just in case anything happened to the originals.
I used RipIt4Me, DVDShrink and Imgburn. I noticed that while RipIt4Me was fixing the VTS that it would say removing anywhere from 187 packs to one disk that it removed 420,000 packs.
What the heck are packs and how can there be so many if not needed? The disc according to RipIt4Me had no copy protection.

Thanks

It means the program found an empty sector (or at least one that doesnt start with 00 00 01 BA - the 'pack header') within a VOB file, nothing to worry about, just ignore it.
