does reformatting your hard drive repeatedly harm or damage your hard drive because i reformat mine like every once a month. i am just curious because there might be a limited number of reformatting cycle for a hard drive and that mine would suddenly crash. thanks guys!

Formatting a hard drive is no different from any other sequence of write operations, from a longevity point of view. Once a month is certainly OK. I am slightly curious to know why you are doing this, however.
